The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) has revealed uniform storage product power competence ratings at its SNIA Europe event. The Esmeralda Power competence measurement specifications were developed under the Green Storage Initiative (GSI) for more than 25 SNIA member companies to give a seller-neutral power competence measure. A website offers more information as well as a place from which to download the requirement, consumer guide, along with the test report form for inputting - or if you are a provider, your individual product's test information.
