Double-Take's cloud affiliation partner program around its disaster recovery solutions

The cloud affiliate program by Double-Take provides opportunities to the resellers who re-sell its recovery solutions to help in the implementation of support and winning business. The services provided by Double-Take offer organizations with simple and economical way for the replication of critical data in located in the cloud.

If a disaster takes place, the users can be switched to recovery service in the cloud where the users can continue using their data while the disaster issue is looked at. Double-Take not only offers online data storage but also provides a continuous disaster recovery service to its customers whereas its resellers and partners are facilitated with an advantage over the cloud storage solutions provided by other service providers.

The Sales and Marketing Director for UK, Double-Take Software, Ian Masters said that, “The cloud represents a massive opportunity for our partners around continuity, as it offers the ability to meet the needs of organizations that either could not afford to implement a full disaster recovery site, or that are looking at using the cloud to enhance their existing DR strategies. Taking a ‘recovery in the cloud’ approach means that businesses can have up-to-date copies of their workloads running as quickly as possible, and users can carry on working while any problem is resolved.”

He also added that, “For our partners, this new affiliate program is designed to make selling this service as simple as possible for them: we have dedicated resources internally to help with sales, marketing and lead generation around our cloud recovery solution, while Double-Take Software is responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met and that implementations are successful.”

15Below’s technical operations manager, Adrian Kondritz said that, “15below has joined the Double-Take Cloud channel program as it offers us a strong business continuity solution for our customers as well as providing a real differentiator for us in the market. The ability to run whole workloads in the cloud is a new way to solve problems around backup and recovery, compared to the issues that previously would have affected our customers around using tape or online storage. 15below has already had a great deal of interest from our clients in the service, and we have had a lot of support from Double-Take Software's sales and technical support to help us make the most of these opportunities.”
