The Benaroya Company purchases Boise Data Center

The Benaroya Company, that owns and controls the LEED Gold Certified South Hill Data Center, has just announced its acquisition of the Boise Data Center which has the area of 60,252 square foot. The data center had been managed by HP as one of their chief national data centers, Hewlett Packard sold the function as part of its worldwide consolidation of data center.

Benaroya's Boise Data Center purchase adds superior capacity in two high-insisted markets, Boise and Seattle, where demand continues to outpace deliver.  Prepared for immediate use, the Boise Data Center is a intermediate to low density facility which has 28,958 square feet of raised floor space in two wings in a safe five acre setting. The Boise Data Center features superfluous, different fiber providers (Qwest, Time Warner and 360 Networks) and also provides office and support spaces.  Fueled by well-organized, clean hydro-electric energy, Boise's power charges are approximately half that of mainly western states and are between the lowest in the United States.
