Cloud storage management solutions provider Meze Software announced recently that it has formed a contract with software company Scality, in which Mezeo software storage is well-matched with Scality RING Organic technology, and vice versa. This news appears within a week after Scality declared that its tech is being used by the specialist Team Drive collaboration and synchronization in the release of a synchronization solution and file sharing of private clouds.

Amazon Web Services has just announced that it is now opens its data from servers in Oregon, where the firm has been building some data centers. The newest data center capacity has permitted Amazon to create a next availability zone in the US-West area, offering additional choices for users to house also to serve data across some geographic areas to develop reliability and redundancy. The new area will offer the full choice AWS services, with its Simple Storage Service (S3) and Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
