IBM Lotus Web Content Management connector launched by EntropySoft

EntropySoft, the world leader in Enterprise connectivity, released an IBM Lotus Web Content Management connector. By making this connector available, EntropySoft is steadily increasing again its peerless interoperability capacities and its attractive product offer.

The Lotus Web Content Management connector can connect to multiple content libraries has read/write abilities and supports all item types: site areas, sites, contents, components of content, components of library, categories, taxonomies, presentation templates, workflows and authoring templates.

With the help of this connector, any third party manufactured goods or business line application can retrieve, create, remove, and update all above items along with the creation of new versions, lock/unlock items and search in the repository using the EntropySoft SQL language. The extraction of users, groups and authorizations is also totally supported.

In addition, this connector also integrates the EntropySoft repository changes feature that can enable the connector to see and report all additions and updates made to the Lotus Web Content Management repository.

With this product, EntropySoft extends its family of Web Content Management Connectors which already contains the Vignette and Interwoven Team site connectors. This is also an addition to EntropySoft's increasing number of IBM connectors. Software sellers, IT Services enterprises and huge organizations can use the EntropySoft IBM connector family to easily integrate with a big number of IBM content repositories.

“For the past five years, we have been continuously increasing the number of connectors that we have, effectively increasing interoperability between Document repositories”, announced Nicolas Macquarie, CEO, EntropySoft. “By adding yet another enterprise connector to our list, we are getting closer to our corporate mission: connecting applications to information."

The IBM Lotus Web Content Management connector is intended to be simply integrated in third party applications and exposes the same API as the 35 other EntropySoft connectors. It could also be used in association with EntropySoft's other products, Content Hub and Content ETL. Thus, transfer of content to and from IBM Lotus Web Content Management hasn't ever been so easy.

EntropySoft is the planet's leading connector provider. It has more than 35 read/write concern connectors for unstructured information, the biggest connectivity offer on the market.
