A turnkey desktop management cloud supplier, Wanova, has raised $10 million in series B financial support from Greylock Partners, Opus Capital and Carmel Ventures. It brings the total funding of the company’s to $23 million.
Wanova offers Distributed Desktop Virtualization solutions which centralize controlling of the desktop infrastructure as optimizing the consumer experience and offering full support for offline using. Mirage, Wanova’s flagship product unites centralized computer image management with the capacity to run images easily on a PC, which allows enterprises to cut desktop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) as well as develop IT operations.
With Mirage, the PC images, including customization settings runs locally on a PC that allows users to take advantage of home team performance, including the ability to run multimedia applications and working while disconnected from the network.
Wanova has just gained a major success in the world of IP, announcing its first United States patent by the technology of centralized management layer provides a single image of the PC on the network, the local implementation of the image on the machine and optimized synchronization among central and local images.
The new funds will be used in building global sales and support teams and product development.
