Companies should utilize encryption as part of their data security plan in order to ensure their data is protected.

AMX Mobile software development consultant, Matthew Baxter-Reynolds, said that with the growing use of mobile technology, as well as the continuing security issues related with USBs, encryption has not at all been more critical.

Laptops or notebooks need to be encrypted without any doubt, he claims, as they will leave the restricted domain of the business.

Matthew Baxter-Reynolds also asserts that businesses can encrypt a machine and it'll perform the similar as it did earlier to that encryption, but notebooks are non-optional. USB plugs - once more, if they're going to be parting the build, they're non-optional.

Mr Baxter-Reynolds also added that it is ethically appropriate for businesses to ensure that critical information is at least constantly encrypted as part of data security.

As per to a research conducted by the Kingston Digital and Ponemon Institute, almost three-quarters of data failure can be associated back to USB sticks.
