Gladinet Launches new Cloud Backup

Gladinet just released a new release Gladinet Cloud Backup. As the name suggest, it does one thing backing up to the cloud. This is the fourth product / service from Gladinet. The 1st one is Gladinet Cloud Desktop, which maps a network drive to the cloud storage services.
It has some easy backup features though not as complete as the Gladinet Cloud Backup. The second one is Gladinet CloudAFS Cloud Attached File Server. It's a server product, if the Gladinet Cloud Desktop is a customer product. It extends the file server with cloud storage. This permits conventional backup software to interoperate with the cloud, using CloudAFS as a gateway.
The 3rd one is an upgrade service Gladinet Cloud Space. It lets you remotely access cloud and manage your Gladinet Cloud Desktop and CloudAFS examples. Now Gladinet Cloud Backup is here. The target is backup. It supports volume shade copy so it can back up files-in-use and other applications that supports volume shade copy, e.g. the SQL Server, Exchange Server and for example. Even though these products are dissimilar, one common theme is shared across products. It is they are all open platform to the support any cloud storage services.
Out of the box, it supports ATT Synaptic Storage, Windows Azure, Amazon S3, Google Storage, Mezeo, Nirvanix, and Peer1 CloudOne. Gladinet is also actively working with the more partners to add their cloud storage offering to the open platform.
