Amazon.com Inc. is in talks to acquire the mobile chip business of Texas Instruments to enter the much competitive smartphone and tablet market, Israeli financial newspaper Calcalist claimed in its report on Monday, October 15.

Polycom aims to break down the video conferencing barriers with its new RealPresence CloudAXIS Suite by 2015. This new software suite will enable the enterprises to easily connect with their partners, colleagues or customers who use other video conferencing services like Skype, Google Talk and Facebook. It will not only expand video conferencing capabilities of the enterprises but also reduce the security threats that are constantly arising in the corporate networks and data by connecting outside of the firewall of companies.
